Blind-spot monitoring system of the 2023 Audi e-tron uses a camera to detect vehicles in adjacent lanes. It can detect vehicles at speeds up to 130 km/h, and it can also tell you if there are motorcycles, bicycles or pedestrians in your blind spots. You can turn off the system if it's not something you want.
Adaptive cruise control uses radar to detect the vehicle in front of you, and will adjust your speed to maintain a safe distance. You can use it in stop-and-go traffic, or when following another vehicle on the highway. The dual clutch transmission is a type of automatic gearbox, but it uses two separate clutches for odd and even gear sets.
Because it's more complex to design and manufacture, some manufacturers use the same basic concept but add more cogs to create eight or nine-speed transmissions that function like conventional automatics with manual capability built in. The e-tron will use a seven-speed dual clutch transmission (DSG) with three electric motors powering all four wheels through an electric all-wheel drive system.
