Recently, Audi of America announced the company's June's sales results, with 19,416 vehicles sold during the month. In racking up a 78th consecutive month of record sales, the company realized a 5.3 percent improvement over June 2016 sales, with the all-new Q5 and A5 Sportback helping to fuel the month's performance.

For the six months of the year, 102,971 Audi vehicles have been sold -- more vehicles than the company sold in a full year prior to 2010 -- and the company has earned a 6.2 percent gain over the first half of 2016.

4,498 Q5 SUVs were delivered in June, propelling the vehicle to a 17 percent sales gain for the year. The Q7 improved 19 percent over last June's numbers with 3,114 vehicles sold, and the SUV's yearly sales are up 14 percent. Sales for the Q3 ticked up 1.3 percent for the month, and total Audi SUV sales have increased 14 percent for the year-to-date.

Audi sedans continue to outperform the general sedan market, as the A4 sedan gained 7.9 percent in June and is up 16 percent for the year. Sales of the A5 coupe blossomed 196 percent in June, and have now increased 55.5 percent for 2017.
